Friends of Educational Opportunity Program Board of Trustees
Established in 1971, the Friends of the Educational Opportunity Program (FEOP) Board of Trustees promotes academic excellence for first-generation, economically disadvantaged, and underrepresented students. The Friends of EOP Board serves as an advisory bridge between the Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity (OMA&D) and the community, offering strategic guidance to the vice president on resource development and diversity-focused initiatives. In partnership with OMA&D, the board helps select recipients of the University of Washington's Charles E. Odegaard Award, the OMA&D Spark Award and student scholarships, while also supporting the Annual Celebration Gala.
